• Flashing yellow light indicates RS 485 is communicating.

Design Highlights/Advantages

• Easy Retrofit- The STP-SCIII is compatible with most existing 3 phase submersibles from 3 to 5 hp.
  Benefit: Retrofitting existing stations is as simple as replacing the existing 3 phase motor with the STP-SCIIII. No additional wiring is required.

• Continuous Diagnostics- The STP-SCIII constantly monitors the submersible for abnormal conditions that reduce motor life or cause down-time. When any of these conditions exist, the STP-SCIII will alert the service technician to the source of the problem:

  • Voltage/Current Unbalanced

Benefit: Extends motor life and reduces downtime, which results in lower operating costs.

• Pump Auto-Start- Provides “on demand” automatic pump start of up to 8 submersible pumps manifolded to the same discharge line. Lead pump starts to satisfy initial demand, and additional pumps are started as demand increases.
  Benefit: Reduces power consumption and extends pump life by starting only the number of pumps needed to meet the current demand of open nozzles. Improves flow rates during busy periods by automatically starting additional pumps as needed.
