NexPhase™ combines all of the electrical panels, equipment, and wiring that are tasked with receiving, distributing, and protecting a DC fast charging site’s power.
SIMPLIFY PLANNING
As a turnkey solution, NexPhase™ combines all traditional post-and-frame switchgear equipment into a single enclosure, eliminating the lengthy design and permitting process. NexPhase™ provides an integrated, single-cabinet, ready-to-install switchgear solution.
PURPOSE-BUILT FOR EV
NexPhase™ is designed specifically for electric vehicle DC fast charger applications. It combines the utility termination cabinet, utility current transformer cabinet (CT), main service breaker, and 480 V 3-phase branch breakers into a single, UL 891 listed / NEMA rated enclosure for outdoor environments.
RAPID COMMISSIONING
NexPhase™ requires only the on-site connections for incoming utility power, utility meter connection, and outgoing charger connections, drastically reducing on-site installation time and costs.
CHARGER FLEXIBILITY
Integrated adjustable circuit breakers allow NexPhase™ to accommodate a wide range of DC fast charger kW ratings and site configurations, regardless of the charger manufacturer.

With an integrated meter socket and test switch plate, current transformer mounting plates, and utility service connections, NexPhase™ is ready to accommodate your local utility connections.

REMOTE POWER CYCLING
Charger outages are routinely caused by a charger software or communication failure. Most frequently a hard power cycle of the charger is all that is needed to get the charger up again. The charge point operator simply cannot perform a hard reboot of a charger without sending a technician to the site. With NexPhase™, charge point operators can remotely cycle the circuit breakers avoiding extended downtime and costly maintenance calls.
INCREASE CHARGER UPTIME
With early detection of charger deficiencies and power availability provided by NexPhase™, operators are provided with the tools to identify outages, improve uptime, and enhance the reliability of their EV charging sites.
POWER QUALITY MONITORING
With near real-time monitoring of critical incoming utility power parameters such as Current, Voltage, Power Factor, Apparent Power, Active Power, and Reactive Power, an embedded power quality monitor empowers charge point operators with actionable data insights to optimize charger performance, apply predictive maintenance, and mitigate downtime.
SAFETY FEATURES
NexPhase™ offers integrated surge protection, ensuring reliability in the face of unexpected power surges or fluctuations. Added safety options include inputs for charger crash detection, flammable vapor monitoring, and flood detection along with inputs for remotely monitored E-Stop shutdown.
UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY
In the event of a power outage, an embedded UPS allows NexPhase™ to capture and deliver a snapshot of current system conditions. This feature empowers operators with detailed information, enabling swift and accurate remote diagnosis to expedite resolution and minimize downtime.
UNITE™ WEB-BASED INTERFACE
An MQTTS Communication Protocol allows the NexPhase™ Hub to securely communicate with the web-based UNITE™ user interface. UNITE™ provides user-friendly access to monitoring information including:
