WATER & VAPOR-TIGHT CONTAINMENT ENTRY

Electrofusion welded entry seals create seamless connection between the conduit and containment while the integrated slotted compression disks give a complete 360 degree seal around every wire. These two crucial seal points ensure a tight system.

Electrofusion Welding

With the electrofusion welding process, the entry seal, conduit or ducting, and containment become one, leak proof system eliminating liquid or vapour penetration.

Compression Disc

The unique compression discs and grommets individually grip each wire eliminating the potential for water or vapor intrusion.

Compression Nut

A compression nut is tightened into place on the inside of the containment, locking the entire wire assembly into a liquid and vapor-tight assembly.

CUSTOMIZED ENTRY SEAL SOLUTIONS

Whatever the market or standard, there is a liquid-tight entry seal to match the application. Each fitting type is also available with interchangeable compression disc options so it can be customized to each specific wire diameter.

Flexible Conduit

The multi-cable entry seal is ideal for consolidating groups of 5 mm to 17 mm diameter wires into one entry point.

Direct Bury

Direct bury entry fittings are ideal for applications where cable is directly buried in the ground, such as grounding wires and armored power cables.

Rigid Conduit

The rigid conduit entry fitting handles one to three ¾" bore rigid conduit entries where local regulations require steel conduit.

FLEXIBLE CONDUIT & DUCTING OPTIONS

We studied forecourts across the world to determine common cable diameters and delivered an optimized conduit and ducting offering to match the needs of each market. 

The Right Diameter

Flexible conduit is available in 32 mm and 75 mm diameters and ducting is available in 110 mm diameter.

No Buried Joints

100 m (32 mm conduit), 50 m (75 mm conduit), and 75 m (110 mm ducting) coils allow for long runs, eliminating the need for buried joints.

Non-Corrosive

Unlike steel, the durable and lightweight polyethylene construction of the conduit and ducting make it corrosion resistant for a long service.

FULLY OPTIMIZED TRANSITION CHAMBER

Built specifically for wire management, the rugged transition chamber minimizes cost and the size of the containment space while providing an easy access point for the electrician for maintenance or future expansion.

A TRUE END-TO-END WIRE MANAGEMENT SOLUTION

All of the benefits of the field-proven electrofusion welded pipework system are applied to this crucial part of the forecourt installation to ensure a fully water and vapor-tight underground system.

  • Conduit and ducting Internal bore diameters: 25mm (32mm conduit), 65mm (75mm conduit), 106mm (110mm ducting)
  • Max vapour seal penetration in containment: 60mm (75mm conduit), 50mm (32mm conduit), 50mm (direct bury)
  • Transition chamber is a combination of an LLDPE chamber and a D400 load rated composite access cover and frame (factory tested to -30mbar)
  • Transition chamber dimensions: W900 x D800 x H862
