1 Internet Information Services Installation

Windows Server 2016 and Server 2019

1. Open 'Server Manager' window.
2. Click 'Manage' menu item and then 'Add Roles and Features' to open 'Add Roles and Features Wizard'. Accept default settings except when noted below.
3. 'Server Roles'
• Check 'Web Server (IIS)' checkbox.
4. 'Web Server Role (IIS)' / 'Role Services':
• Check 'ASP' and 'CGI' checkboxes under 'Web Server' / 'Application Development'.
• Check 'IIS 6 Management Compatibility' checkbox under 'Management Tools'.

2 Internet Information Services Configuration

2.1 Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager

2.2 'Enable Parent Paths' parameter

1. Click server tree view node to select it.
2. Double-click 'ASP' icon from 'IIS' section.
3. Set 'Enable Parent Paths' parameter to 'True'.
4. Click 'Apply' action to save the changes.

2.3 'Enable 32-Bit Applications' parameter

1. Double-click server tree view node to expand it.
2. Click 'Application Pools' tree view node to select it.
3. Right-click 'DefaultAppPool' and select 'Advanced Settings...' menu item.
4. Set 'Enable 32-Bit Applications' parameter to 'True'.
5. Set ‘Identity’ parameter to ‘LocalSystem’.
6. Click 'OK' button to save the changes.
